City & Culture
Every city in India has its own charm. The Indian subcontinent offers a wide range of tourist destinations to choose from; from the sands of Rajasthan to the snow clad mountains of North and the beaches of south. Let’s travel to India for a rich cultural and spiritual experience.
Pondicherry is a beautiful coastal city in the Southern part of India. Popularly called “The French Riviera of the East”, this city is home to some of the best restaurants serving French cuisine in India. The French influence can be seen everywhere in the city from architecture to food. Don’t be too surprised if you find people conversing in French in this city of India.
In Pondicherry, you can enjoy beaches, restaurants, museums, temples, churches, and so on. Pondicherry is a perfect travel destination for every person. There are so many things to do that people of varied interests can satiate their “wander-thirst” here.
I can’t help but wonder what poems Wordsworth would have composed if he ever visited Munnar. It is an absolute treat for a nature lover. You will fall in love with this place so much that you will not want to leave. The hills covered in tea and cardamom plantations are a delight to the senses. Who can resist the charm of mountains carpeted in hues of green with a misty veneer of clouds?
So pack your bags and travel to Munnar for a soul enriching experience in Kerala. Write poetry, trail into the woods in your trekking shoes, stay in a resort dating to colonial times, or do anything that your heart desires. But for a few days in Munnar, love nature and let the nature love you.
If you’ve come to India and not been to Kashmir, then you need to come back again to save yourself from regretting that you missed the chance of seeing “heaven on Earth”. The charisma of snow capped mountains and lush green landscapes is enough to capture anyone’s heart.
Because Kashmir is not just a place, it is a state of mind:
For the love of adrenaline rush:
For all you adventure junkies, Kashmir has many places where you can feel that adrenaline rush while doing mountaineering and river rafting.
For a better experience:
March to October is the best time to visit Kashmir. It gets too cold during winters and heavy snowfall and avalanches might cause obstruction to your plans.
The capital city of Rajasthan is one of the most visited cities by the tourists in India. Jaipur has a place for everyone.
This enthralling city in northeast India is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. Situated in the Himalayan peaks, the capital city of Sikkim should be on every traveler’s bucket list. Gangtok has many monasteries, markets, adventure activities and much more to see and experience.
