How do I pay?
You can pay with KNET, CashU, Visa, or MasterCard after you choose your flight and/or hotel.
Is it safe to use my credit card online?
Yes, we at Rehlat use a secure server for all our credit card transactions so you do not need to worry. You can print out your receipt and we will send you an email confirming your booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email ( and it is not in your spam box ) please call us on +971 42431343 during working hours.
Do the prices include tax?
The price you see at the start of your search includes all taxes and fees - except for credit card fees which will only be added when you select your payment method. If you add travel insurance to your package the insurance fee will also be added before you pay.
What sort of travel insurance do you provide?
We provide Islamic Takaful Travel Insurance. You must select the insurance that is to be covered during the process of reservation. Please see the insurance terms and conditions for further information.
Do I need to confirm my booking?
No. After you’ve booked your flight or hotel, you do not need to reconfirm it. Once you complete your booking, we will email you the details of your confirmed reservation. This email will have your flight and hotel check-in information. Your booking details can also be viewed by signing into your account and going to My Bookings.
How do I find my booking on Rehlat?
Please login using your username and password and then click on My Booking at the top right corner of the page. If you booked as a Guest (without registering or without logging in), please call our office on +202 33473100 during business hours and give us your reservation number.
How do I change or cancel a flight or hotel reservation?
Please call our office on +202 33473100 during working hours and provide us with your reservation number. Please note that some air tickets and hotel reservations are non-refundable. Please see the airline’s and/or hotel’s policy for more details. Cancellation fees may apply.
I haven’t got my tickets yet?
When you book online you should print your receipt and travel itinerary. We will send you a confirmation email with your e-tickets. Please print the e-tickets and carry them with you to the airport. Many airlines now-a-days operate a ticketless system and you will only have to show a form of identity in order to get your boarding pass. If you are travelling abroad this will be your passport, if you are travelling within the GCC you can use your Civil ID card.
How do I get my boarding pass?
Your boarding pass will be given to you by the airline when you check-in for your flight at the airport. Please print the e-ticket that was emailed to you and bring it with you to the airport for check-in and remember to take your ID or passport with you.
Are flight times always shown in Kuwait time?
All times are shown at the local time. If you are flying from Kuwait the check-in and departure times are shown in Kuwait time. Arrival times and the departure times of your return journey will always be given in the local time that applies at your destination.
When do I have to be at the airport?
Arrive at the airport well in advance keeping in mind your car parking time, transfers to the departure building, security check, passport control, baggage check-in, etc while planning before you start to the airport. . Different airports operate differently so you should always check the relevant times with the airline. Your booking confirmation will detail the latest check-in time – however, we advise you not to leave it to the last minute. If you do not arrive at the departure gate on time you will not be allowed to board your flight. For international flights check-in normally opens 3 hours and closes around 90 minutes before take-off. This is to allow all passengers have enough time to get through security and passport control. We advise you to be at the airport when the check-in opens.
Many airlines now offer online check-in and even mobile boarding passes. Check on the website of the airline you are flying with to see what is possible. Online check-in can save your time.
What happens if I miss a flight?
When you arrive at the airport you should go to check-in. If check-in has been already closed, you can ask to be put on another flight. Depending on flight availability and the airline’s policies and the reason for your late arrival they may be able to accommodate you. However, you will probably have to pay for another flight. Depending on your reasons for missing your flight you might be able to claim the cost of your flight from your travel insurance. Please check your travel insurance for details.
I have lost my passport – can I still travel?
All GCC citizens can travel within the GCC without a passport – you will just need your Civil ID card. If you are travelling out of the GCC you will need a valid passport.
How many pieces of luggage can I take?
There are two types of luggage on a flight, cabin or hand luggage, and checked-in luggage. Most airlines will allow you multiple pieces of checked-in luggage, but will restrict it by weight and/or size. Special allowances may exist for passengers with disabilities or people travelling with infants. You must check with your airline what is allowed.
Some airlines will only allow you one piece of hand luggage and this can be restricted by weight or size or both. At present, there are very strict rules about what you can carry on a flight. You must check the relevant rules with the airline that is carrying you.
What time do I have to be at my hotel?
The email that we sent you confirming your bookings will include all details about arrival times. Most hotels will not let you access a room till after midday.
What happens if the flight is delayed and I am late arriving at the hotel?
If you are travelling independently and know you are going to be late you should contact the hotel and let them know. You need to ask them to hold the room for you. If your hotel has been booked as part of a package and includes transfer from the airport, the delay will have been communicated by the tour agency and arrangements made to ensure you are picked up and transferred and that your room is still available.
What time do I have to check out of the hotel?
This will vary from hotel to hotel and you should check this personally when you arrive. Usually, it will be around midday. If you have an early flight you might have to arrange to check out the evening before. If you have a late flight, most hotels will arrange for safe storage of your luggage during the day and some may even offer you use of facilities during the day. Please ask at the hotel before you are ready to leave.
What if I didn’t get the room I booked?
Always take a copy of your reservation with you. If there are any issues with your reservation you must immediately raise them with the hotel staff.
What is a transit visa?
Transit visa is a temporary nonimmigrant visa which is for a very short duration stay in the airport or city. Most of the transit visa duration ranges from 4 hours to 48 hours only. This allows the travelers to tour the intermediate airport or cities en-route to their final destinations.
P.S: The intermediate airport is where the traveler is the stopover destination where he/she has to change the flight for their onward journey.
Do I need a transit visa?
Some countries require transit visa in case the stop-over is of 24 hours or more. But Singapore provides transit visa for as small as 4 hours duration.
Few countries require travellers to have a transit visa even if they are not going out of the airport.
Please note: Rehlat adds suggestions for airports where transit visa may be required. However, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to enquire that before booking the flight.
It is advised to check about the transit visa requirement with the embassy of the intermediate or stopover airport prior to commencing internal journey.
Where to get a transit visa?
The embassy of the intermediate or stop over airport can issue the transit visa. You have to apply for it prior to commencing the journey.
Please note: Airline or Rehlat would not be liable for transit visa issuance. Contact embassy to get your transit visa.
I have booked my flight from my relative or friend's credit card. So do I need to show any undertaking letter for it?
This will depend on the airline. Few airlines for security reasons may insist to show the credit card used or an undertaking. Hence, it is advised to be on the safe side and keep the undertaking with you.
The undertaking should have front and back print of the credit card used for booking along with a statement by the credit card holder where he states that with is consent the credit card was used to book the tickets. The undertaking should be signed and acknowledged by the credit card holder.
As an alternative and to avoid all the hassles, you could transfer the required amount from your friend or relative’s credit/debit card to your Karam account and book instantly without any undertaking or verifications needed.

No, you do not need to show the credit card used or an undertaking.
What is the convenience fee in my fare break-up? How much would I be charged for convenience fee?
There is no fixed value for the convenience fee. It is the service fee for the service we are offering on the site.

Is auto-cancellation available for all flights?
Auto-cancellation is available if the flight departure time is more than 24 hours from the time of cancellation requsted. Please check "My Trips" section after you log in to Rehlat to confirm if the feature is available for your flight booking.
I have paid though PayPal? Is auto-cancellation available for my booking?
Auto-cancellation is applicable for bookings with credit and debit card payments.
