The Tech Interactive

The Tech Interactive, previously recognized as The Tech Museum of Innovation, is a prominent science and technology hub situated amid downtown San Jose, California.

Established in the year 1990, this institution has emerged as a distinguished establishment that fosters the growth of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education and innovation.

The museum's IMAX Dome Theater, also known as The Hackworth IMAX Dome Theater, provides an immersive movie-viewing experience on a dome-shaped screen. The theater exhibits an assortment of educational documentaries, science-themed films, and blockbuster films.

The Tech Interactive has a specialized arena called the Tech Studio. This space is exclusively designed to provide visitors with an immersive experience in technology, engineering, and innovation. Here, visitors can engage in workshops, design challenges, and hands-on activities that are tailored to their interests. The activity fosters an environment that stimulates creativity, promotes effective problem-solving, and encourages collaboration.

The Tech Interactive has a specific initiative called The Tech for Global Good. The goal of this project is to promote and improve technologies that help solve important global problems like poverty, climate change, and a lack of access to education and health care.
