Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

The Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a wide diversity of flora and fauna, is situated in the northeastern part of Goa. The park has 8 square kilometers of verdant terrain and annually draws throngs of visitors from all across the nation.

In addition to housing a wide variety of wildlife, the sanctuary also takes in animals that have been hurt as a result of human-wildlife conflict. Additionally, it defends those who face extinction risk.

As a result, it is one of the safest locations for animal breeding and promotes related research. This idyllic retreat, which is not far from Margao, also has its botanical garden, deer park, and rose gardens. You can see why this wildlife park is one of the areas that both schoolchildren and environment lovers visit the most.

The tranquil settings of the location, which are surrounded by lovely shades of green and have the sunlight filtering through the leaves, will not only lift your spirits but also refresh your exhausted thoughts.

You can unwind in the beauty of nature, interact with animals in a meaningful way, practice wildlife photography, and go on a wildlife safari with loved ones. Your time and money will be well spent traveling to Bondla, which will be a welcome respite from the noise of the city.

As soon as you enter Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, the breathtaking surroundings will astound you. The lush fields surrounded by bamboo plantations and tall deciduous trees give the area a mysterious character

There are other additional trees to be found here, including Kindall, Rosewood, Jamba, Mimusops, and Matti. The sanctuary, which is covered in natural beauty at its core, cannot help but enchant you with its calm.

You can frequently see wildlife including Malabar Giant Squirrels, deer, bears, bison of different species, jungle cats, and more as you walk along the forest's trails. If you're lucky, you might also see a panther. Be cautious of the sanctuary's diverse collection of exotic birds. Kingfishers, hornbills, and woodpeckers are the most frequently encountered.

A night spent in one of the forest cottages will undoubtedly be an exciting experience if you are not time-constrained. The stunning cottages, which are covered in an aesthetic aura, are located in the middle of the woods, where you may lose yourself in the peace of the nighttime forest. You will enjoy a comfortable stay in the rooms because they are lovely inside and well-equipped with contemporary conveniences.
