The highlights of the museum are its 6 massive aquariums that are home to almost 400 species of fish.

Formula One Monaco Grand Prix

Formula One Monaco Grand Prix is probably the most popular event of Monaco. The streets of Monaco wear a festive look, and the enthusiasm of the Grand Prix fans is palpable. The narrow roads with steep turns make it one of the toughest circuits in the world. The course begins at the Boulevard Albert 1 up to Place du Casino including the nerve-racking turn right in front of the Monte-Carlo Fairmont Hotel.

Le Rocher

Wander on the charming streets of the old and original town of Monaco here at Le Rocher. The small, windy walkways and characteristic buildings transfer you to medieval times.  The strategic location of the rock became the center of the Grimaldi Dynasty.

Palace of Monaco

The Grimaldis have ruled Monaco from their official residence, the Palace of Monaco, for almost 700 centuries. The palace has a mixture of architectural styles owing to its long history, although, the principal façade is built in Renaissance style. The palace is open for public viewing during Summer. Every day at 11:55 AM, the palace guards perform the traditional ritual of ‘Changing the Guard’ which is worth adding to your itinerary.

Cathedral of Our Lady of Immaculate

Earlier known as St. Nicholas Cathedral, this Roman-Byzantine style cathedral is built out of white stones from La Turbie. The cathedral has undergone many renovations, and the current structure is quite recent (1884). However, its interiors feature many treasures such as an altarpiece dating from 1500, the retable (circa 1500) and the Episcopal throne in white Carrara marble. The cathedral is open to tourists except during religious services.

Monte-Carlo Harbour

Monaco is blessed with an extensive natural coastline. Monte Carlo Harbour is an epitome of luxury and glitz set in stunning natural beauty.
