One of the surviving Mughal gardens in Agra is the char bagh garden complex known as Mehtab Bagh. It was the eleventh and final garden to be established by the Mughals, and Shah Jahan built it. It is thought that Shah Jahan specifically requested that the bagh be created for his interests so he could come up here and take in the Taj Mahal's immeasurable splendour. The gardens here and those in the Taj are precisely parallel, and the view of the Taj from the fountain in front of the entrance gate is a classic.

As a result, Mehtab Bagh in Agra is unquestionably a work of art and intelligence, and when you visit, you'll want to spend a lot of time in the garden. One can see the hustle of tourists any time of the day. Its more than perfect quadrilateral shape, and architectural finesse make it stand apart. It is close to the Taj Mahal to the north and has views of the Yamuna River and Agra Fort on the other side. The garden flowers and reclaims its former grandeur in the spring, autumn, and winter. When the Yamuna flows freely, and the Taj is reflected in its calm waters, it is a sight to behold. Every season brings a new appeal to the garden. The vivid reflection of the magnificent Taj Mahal in the park's lakes on moonlit nights is an incredible sight. In addition to the numerous fruit trees that enhance the park's splendour, It is now a horticulture delight with various colourfully flowering flowers, medicinal herbs, and other plants.
