Singapore Changi Airport has been declared “The World’s Best Airport” sixth time in consecutive years. This airport is so beautiful with so much to do that you will want to come a few hours ahead of your scheduled departure. Flight delay is a blessing in this airport. A layover at this airport is an unasked wish come true.
Rejuvenate yourself at Singapore Changi Airport in the rooftop swimming pool in the Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel in Terminal 1. There’s a Jacuzzi, a pool side bar and spa too to help you relax best if you’re jet legged.
GardensIf you feel like spending some peaceful time in the midst of nature, the world’s best airport has got you covered. You can while your time away in the five wonderful gardens in Terminals 1, 2, and 3: the Cactus Garden (T1), Sunflower Garden (T2), Enchanted Garden (T2), Orchid Garden (T2) and Butterfly Garden (T3).
DécorDécor so beautiful that will make you feel weak in your knees. The airport is always so hypnotizingly decorated with all kinds of amazing stuff that you can’t take your eyes away from it.
Movie TheatreSit back and relax in your comfy seats while watching the latest box office hits in the movie theatres located in the transit areas of Terminals 2 and 3.
World’s Tallest Airport SlideSlide away your flight delay woes in the world’s tallest airport slide. There’s no age barrier to enjoy this slide located in Terminal 3.
Staff CanteenIndulge in some appetizing meals without paying the usual inflated airport prices. Changi’s staff canteen offers the best food at low cost. Don’t be mislead by its name; this canteen is open to all, the passengers as well as the staff.
Video GamesWell, if you’re a gamer you’ll find a huge variety of video games to keep yourself engaged. The gaming area has a vast collection of all kinds of video games to keep your busy till you’re ready to board.
Snooze LoungeExhausted from a long flight? Too sleepy to roam around in the airport? Head straight to the Snooze Lounges in the transit areas of any of the terminals (1, 2, and 3) and nap in the most comfortable chairs.
Social TreeSocial Tree in Terminal 1 is a 9 ft tall enchantress equipped with touch screens, webcams and other technological stuff. There are 8 touch screen photo booths but you are allowed to use only one. So choose wisely. Share your snaps or video on the big screen and also with everyone else via email or social media. If you want to leave a mark in Changi airport, save a copy of your image in the social tree to reopen it the next time you’re there.
Massage ChairsToo tired to do anything? Fret not. Just head to Terminal 3 and let the massage chairs do their magic on you. But don’t forget to keep track of the time if you don’t want to miss your flight.
Does it make you want to travel to Singapore just to spend some time in Changi Airport? I’m sure it does.
