The Neon Museum is the world's only museum devoted to the study, exhibition, and preservation of neon signs and the culture surrounding them. The museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, houses over two hundred vintage neon signs, many of which previously shone brightly on the Strip.
Foreseeing the loss of the city's distinctive neon signs, a group of business owners and residents formed the museum in 1996. Documentary filming has taken place inside the museum to tell the narrative of its creation and the evolution of neon.
