In the middle of Jazan, in southern Saudi Arabia, on a mountain stands an old castle called Turks Castle. It was built during the Ottoman Empire when Jazan served as the Turkish ruler's residence. At an estimated height of 150 meters above sea level, the castle is situated in the center of Jazan on a mountain overlooking the sea. The castle has a square shape and is thought to have a total area of 900 square meters. It is held up by four enormous towers.
