Despite its modest size, the Jordanian Museum of Popular Traditions offers a lot to teach travelers interested in local culture. With its appealing presentations of expertly crafted cultural items, it has since worked to make Jordanian culture accessible to all visitors.

Just for its breathtaking setting close to the eastern portion of the Roman Theater, the Amman museum is a must-see.

Visit the museum's five galleries to see the preserved ceramics, textiles, mosaics, jewelry, and other everyday items to learn about how the museum uses its collection of costumes, mosaics, and other things to preserve Palestinian and Jordanian folklore by visiting the museum's galleries.

  • Your excursion should begin in the museum's first hall, which features traditional clothing from the East Bank. Observe how the outfits' striking hues contrast with the cases' stone interiors. Be grateful for the time and work put into creating the ornate embellishments.

  • Jewelry and toiletries collected from various East and West Bank locations are in the second hall. Look at the bright silver of the necklaces and bracelets and note the many variations in the designs.

  • The third hall houses the collection of Palestinian costumes and heard dresses, which give a sneak peek into the lifestyle of the period.

  • Enter the fourth hall to complete your tour of the museum's everyday life objects, including preserved ceramics, cooking pots, and other kitchenware.

  • The fifth hall, housed in the Roman theater's basement, features a mosaic portraying the Byzantine church from Jerash and Madaba.
